Our premises:

Our premises are located in the historical center of Montemarciano, at the 32nd of Umberto I° road. It's a very prestigious place, since is located in the same building as the "Vittorio Alfieri" municipal Theatre.

The theatre, whose building is a tipical expression of the ninetheenth-century urban expansion, was builted during 1886-87 based on a project made by Eng.Ernesto Marotti. It presents a layout with two separate bodies: one reserved to the entrance and the representation rooms, the other to the main room and the stage. The entrance, with a vaulted ceiling, is on the ground floor, while the foyer (now discarded from its original function) is on the upper floor. The main room is delimitated by two sequences of theatre boxes disposed in a "horseshoe" shape and presents a very finished and minute decoration on the stall's vault, opera made by Buratti from Ancona while the drop-curtain was accomplished by Alberici from Rome. The theatre boxes' breastworks are decorated with paintings and stuccoworks of geometrical shape. The entirety is really harmonic and elegant. The scenic equipment is mostly the original one. Restored and given back to the original function, the theatre reopened its doors in 1984 and it doubtless constitute an important structure for the cultural life of the town and surroundings.

The premises we use for our rehearsals is the old theatre foyer, a nice lounge room of about 84 sq.yards located over the theatre entrance, with three big windows. The room nearby is used for the Directive Council meetings and used as office. On the walls are hanged many pictures that let us remember the significant moments of our history. The premises are gently loaned in a commodatum by the municipal Administration.
